Baltika

All for one and one for all

By expanding its presence in new markets, Baltika Group has faced the problem of centralisation. Different partners, different systems and standards applicable in different countries.

Baltika Group is a fast-growing clothing retail group operating in the Baltic states, Central and Eastern Europe. This Group operates more than 120 stores in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Poland; it owns four brands: Monton, Mozaic, Baltman and Ivo Nikkolo.

The challenge

By expanding its presence in new markets, Baltika Group has faced the demand for centralisation. Different partners, different systems and standards applicable in different countries. The company needed a simple and flexible international system that was fully integrated with many other Microsoft technologies.

Preference was given to a reliable partner who could take responsibility for the design, implementation and maintenance of the system.

The solution

The company has chosen LS Retail and Microsoft Dynamics NAV solution and StrongPoint as an IT partner capable of implementing this integration.

The implemented solution provides the retail company with the necessary range of functions, avoiding the need to create, manage and maintain complex applications. The use of a single application covers everything from POS terminals, store systems to all the functions that can only be used at the head office. LS Nav is based on the Microsoft Dynamics NAV platform; thus, the same program is used in the POS, order management system, and headquarters.

This makes it possible to trace individual transactions from computerized points of sale (POS) to the General Ledger, thus maximizing the value of the business.

The benefits

  • By implementing this solution, Baltika Group has acquired a tool to help it organize and manage its operations, using a single system in all countries. This solution has become the main tool for carrying out everyday work.
  • Using a single system saves costs. The comprehensive retail network management system transfers many functions to its head office. These features help reduce store staff because the task of store employees is to serve customers, not to manage your business.
  • This solution helps Baltika Group manage additional sales revenue. Features such as day-to-day sales revenue planning and reporting along with customer activity reports show untapped potential and provide the opportunity to maximize revenue.
  • With concentrated information, a company can improve the quality of decisions and ensure faster adoption.
