The complex item management required huge resources of the company – complicated and long processes of supply and delivery of goods to stores and administration, which required many human resources.

Previous cash registers could not perform many of the functions required for a modern store, such as offering flexible discount systems or providing access to the stock balances of each store.
It was important for the company that the new system fully automates store management processes in both countries from the cashier’s workplace to the entire company’s financial accounting. Also, the ability to control and oversee all stores operations, maintain unified company accounting and analyse sales results.
The costly maintenance of a central warehouse and store administration costs were the main reasons that led the company to finally commit to fundamental changes and adjust its operating principles.
The solution
Microsoft Dynamics NAV for business management and LS One for store operations were integrated and became the main efficient work tool.
The solution enables to centrally manage all stores belonging to the chain, located both in Lithuania and in other Baltic countries.
Moreover, the LS One retail management solution offers an automated discount and promotions management tool, the ability to deploy and offer loyalty cards to customers.
The system tracks every sales operation and stores all highly detailed information in databases, which allows the customer to create reports in XLS or graphical form according to various criteria and analyses business processes based on accurate sales information.
Together with the LS One, the in-store modern and ergonomic POS devices PartnerTech PT-6215 with touch screens ensure easier administration, and the integrated bank card service solution reduces the likelihood of cashier errors.
The result
The chosen solution opened new capabilities. The system met the company’s expectations – it managed to reduce management costs, the number of administrative staff and all this at a very attractive price.
After the successful implementation of the system, the company is investigating development possibilities abroad starting from Latvia.
